Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant based in Riyadh to oversee daily financial transactions. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, performing bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, tracking budgets, and assisting with monthly and yearly financial closings. The role demands ensuring adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and local legal requirements, while keeping precise and well-organized financial documentation. Additionally, the accountant will support financial analyses, prepare management reports, and liaise with auditors and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in essential accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, general ledger oversight, and financial reporting.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and basic financial analysis to aid strategic decisions.
• Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and common office applications.
• Understanding of local accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance obligations.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; holding certifications like CPA or CMA is favorable.
• Previous experience in accounting roles within trading, distribution, or healthcare sectors is considered a plus.
