Role overview
The Account Manager will act as the link between clients and internal delivery teams to ensure digital advertising campaigns are executed smoothly. This is a client-facing coordination role focused on aligning stakeholders, managing expectations, keeping timelines on track, and ensuring efficient campaign delivery. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for clients on paid campaigns, promotions, and coordination matters.
- Collect campaign objectives, assets, tracking details, timelines, and approvals from clients.
- Evaluate business goals and marketing needs to prepare high-level media plans and campaign strategies across channels such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube.
- Convert client inputs into an execution plan that aligns with KPIs and campaign objectives.
- Work closely with Campaign Management, Ad Ops, Reporting, and Sales teams to deliver campaigns accurately and on time.
- Partner with creative, sales, and client stakeholders to secure the most effective ad copies and creatives for each campaign or promotion.
- Coordinate with clients and creative teams to collect the right images, messaging, and assets that support the campaign goal and improve performance.
- Ensure all creative and messaging output follows brand guidelines and platform-specific best practices.
- Keep detailed trackers for each account, including asset status, pending inputs, launch dates, and key milestones.
- Join recurring client calls to provide progress updates, clarify deliverables, and keep everyone aligned.
- Follow up proactively with clients and internal teams to prevent delays and meet SLA expectations.
- Raise and track tasks in systems such as JIRA and help resolve issues through dispute management tools when needed.
- Work with reporting and insights teams to share post-campaign performance data in a structured and timely way.
- Look for opportunities to expand services or upsell by understanding client priorities and coordinating with Sales.
- Document all discussions, issues, and next steps to maintain transparency across teams.
- Support audits and contribute to new strategy development or media planning when required.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and end-of-campaign review calls with clients.
- Share strategic recommendations based on campaign performance, learnings, and business goals.
- Contribute to planning discussions by recommending platform mix, budget split, and creative direction at a high level.
- Monitor active campaigns, identify improvement areas, and suggest updates to strengthen performance and reach KPIs.
- Analyze campaign data to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in client coordination or account management within a digital advertising environment, with working knowledge of social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, especially TikTok Ads.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage client conversations and internal follow-ups effectively.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle several accounts or projects at the same time.
- Comfort using tools such as JIRA, Excel or Google Sheets, and other project management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing paid social campaigns on TikTok or similar platforms for at least 3 years.
- Strong interest in social media platforms and campaign performance.
- Ability to think creatively and solve campaign-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven setting.
- Preferred experience with Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and Snapchat paid campaigns.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience analyzing websites using tools such as Google Analytics.
- Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS, WordPress, and website administration is an added advantage.
