Job description
About the Role
This position sits within the Netflix Ads organization in Berlin and focuses on managing the full campaign workflow from pre-sale planning through post-sale execution. You will act as a key partner to Sales Partners, helping translate client objectives into effective media plans, campaign launches, performance optimization, and end-of-campaign reporting. The role is centered on delivering smooth execution, strong client service, and reliable campaign outcomes.
The team works from the Berlin office three days each week. Relocation support is available for candidates who are willing to move to Berlin.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with assigned Sales Partners to understand advertiser goals and shape a high-quality client experience.
- Create media plans and support responses to RFPs, including guidance on packaging, pricing, targeting, and related campaign details.
- Spot opportunities to grow spend through upselling and cross-selling as campaigns progress and client priorities evolve.
- Run weekly pipeline and pacing discussions with Sales Partners to review upcoming launches and live campaign delivery.
- Share campaign results with clients, including wrap-up reporting after campaigns end.
- Lead kickoff discussions and coordinate collection of assets needed for launch.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to produce custom creative assets.
- Coordinate with measurement and research vendors to support correct setup, accurate tracking, and useful insights.
- Work with Ads Operations to ensure orders are implemented correctly and technical issues are resolved promptly.
- Track campaign delivery closely and advise clients on optimization actions when needed.
- Handle campaign escalations and help create longer-term fixes to avoid repeat issues.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of ad products, sponsorship options, targeting tools, and ad policies.
- Support monthly billing and invoicing activities with clients and the finance team.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with clients, agency partners, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in account management and/or sales planning within digital media, ideally with a focus on video advertising.
- Business-level fluency in both German and English.
- Hands-on experience with sales operations tools such as CRM systems, order management systems, and ad servers.
- Understanding of digital media sales models and marketplaces, including Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed, and PMP.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to simplify data for different stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage several projects or requests at the same time.
- Familiarity with advertising research and verification providers such as Nielsen, ComScore, Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, and Kantar.
