Role overview
This position focuses on driving revenue and expanding market presence in untapped segments, with a strong emphasis on commercial and enterprise clients. The role calls for a proactive sales professional who can build pipeline, shape solutions, and grow strategic accounts across multiple industries.
Key responsibilities
- Help increase revenue and market share in new business segments, particularly within commercial and enterprise customer groups.
- Develop sales strategies, identify suitable solutions, and form partnerships that help capture the full value chain, including both connectivity and non-connectivity offerings, for assigned accounts across different verticals.
- Analyze market movements and collaborate with internal teams to define solutions that can be taken to market for various industry segments.
- Independently design and carry out creative prospecting and hunting activities, with a willingness to handle rejection as part of the process.
- Work directly with C-level stakeholders to uncover growth opportunities across both existing and prospective accounts, including mapping work for priority and high-potential marquee accounts.
- Negotiate client contracts, agree on performance timelines, and conduct quarterly C-level business reviews to refine account plans and increase wallet share within the agreed period.
- Strengthen and maintain productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly sales updates, including revenue tracking and new logo acquisition reporting.
- Take ownership of ad hoc initiatives that support overall revenue growth for the company.
Requirements
- A diploma in Business Management, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of sales experience, or experience selling solutions and/or technical services in a corporate setting; background in system integration is preferred.
- Good understanding of the telecommunications and IT sectors.
- Proven network of industry partners or vendors is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly, fluently, and with confidence.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to listen well, present effectively, and work well with people.
- High motivation to deliver results and succeed.
- Energetic, adaptable, and practical in approach.
- Candidates with greater experience may be considered for a more senior position.
