The Role
We are seeking a motivated and high-achieving Account Executive to join our expanding sales team, focusing on the EMEA region. This is a remote position ideal for an ambitious individual with several years of sales experience, potentially transitioning from an SDR or junior AE role into a full-cycle Account Executive position. The successful candidate will manage the EMEA customer base, collaborating with the existing representative for a smooth territory handover and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Digify's products to small and medium-sized businesses, mid-market companies, and occasionally enterprise clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with potential customers through phone and video interactions.
- Effectively qualify leads and discern customer needs, considering the diverse business cultures, languages, and purchasing contexts across EMEA.
- Function as a consultant, proposing suitable solutions and conducting product demonstrations as required.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to the product and marketing departments.
- Manage and prioritize incoming leads from various sources, including trial sign-ups, general inquiries, and RFP/quote requests, based on suitability and urgency.
- Execute efficient deal follow-ups, utilizing recorded calls for crafting follow-up emails, establishing mutual action plans, and conducting deal reviews.
- Maintain accurate customer interaction records in CRM (Hubspot) and report on trends, objections, competitive intelligence, and other relevant data to the team.
- Employ a structured methodology (MEDDPICC & BANT) for deal qualification and progress communication.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in selling SaaS or cloud software solutions.
- Proficiency in selling across diverse international markets, with an understanding of data protection concerns relevant to our client conversations.
- Excellent sales qualification capabilities.
- Aptitude for clearly explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, including phone and presentation abilities. Proficiency in additional European languages like German or French is advantageous.
- Proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Skill in simultaneously educating prospects and closing deals.
- Disciplined approach to managing sales cycles, balancing inbound leads and trial sign-ups with proactive pipeline development, demos, and closing activities.
- Consistent and active use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for tasks such as call preparation, research, prospecting, follow-ups, and CRM data entry.
