Job description
Role Overview
This position is for an ABA Therapist who will support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental challenges through structured behavioral intervention. The role is open to professionals based in the UAE or working remotely. An active DOH or DHA license is required.
Work Schedule
The job follows an 8-hour workday, 6 days per week, on a full-time basis.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct individual ABA therapy sessions tailored to each child’s needs.
- Apply customized intervention plans in line with treatment goals.
- Track client progress and keep detailed, accurate records.
- Gather behavioral data and compile progress reports.
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, ABA, Occupational Therapy, or a closely related discipline.
- A valid DOH or DHA license is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of hands-on ABA therapy experience.
- Prior experience supporting children diagnosed with ASD.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Background
- Certification such as RBT, ABAT, BCaBA, or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Arabic language ability is considered an advantage.
