3D Artist (Architecture)

Position Overview

Utopia Design is looking for an enthusiastic CGI Designer to join their design team, focusing on signature hospitality projects within the real estate development sector. The role involves creating 3D models and visual representations that clearly communicate design intentions, primarily handling Concept Stage designs. Efficiency in 3D modeling and rendering is essential. The role involves close collaboration with the Design Director, working on transforming sketches into architectural concepts and partnering with teams responsible for exterior and interior designs. This opportunity suits experienced and self-driven professionals confident in presenting their ideas to clients.

Work Environment and Location

• This role is fully remote.
• Work hours align with Central European Time (CET) or UK time zones.
• The company does not provide visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architectural and design teams to plan and visualize projects related to exterior, interior, and architectural designs.
• Develop original design concept proposals that align with client requirements for review.
• Create custom materials and textures using 3D Max and Corona Renderer, matching selections from interior designers.
• Model or source 3D furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) based on exterior and interior designers’ specifications.
• Design bespoke furniture pieces using sketches or image references.
• Produce quick sketch renders and previews for internal critique, covering both interior and exterior visuals.
• Work effectively within an agile team environment and utilize project management tools such as Jira.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• A minimum of five years’ experience as a CGI exterior designer with a substantial portfolio of completed projects.
• At least three years’ experience as a CGI interior designer.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in 3ds Max, Vray, Corona Render, Lumion, and other visualization software.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• A comprehensive portfolio is required for consideration.
