Overview

We are seeking experienced 3.5 tonne vehicle drivers to join our committed Transport team at our Ascot Drive Bakery location in Derby. This opportunity suits candidates interested in full-time or part-time roles, playing a critical part in delivering fresh products to nearby retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from vehicles, handling rolling equipment safely with no hand balling required.
• Secure vehicle loads using appropriate restraints following company safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, documenting any faults or defects as necessary.

Working Hours and Schedule

Full-time drivers work Monday through Saturday with shifts starting between 3:30am and 4:00am and working until 11:00am to 12:00pm, totaling 42 hours weekly. Part-time positions (specifically Sunday only) involve 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications and Experience

• A clean driving license is mandatory.
• Professional appearance is required.
• Familiarity with the local area is advantageous but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
