18T Delivery Driver

About the role

This position is for a local delivery driver who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and building ongoing relationships with regular customers. The role is based on a 45-hour working week and offers varied day-to-day driving work across nearby routes. Overtime may also be available.

The business relies on its drivers to help customers stay stocked and to make sure deliveries arrive on time with a strong service standard.

The contract follows an Any 5 from 7 pattern, so shifts will include some weekend work.

Key duties

• Load goods into the vehicle at the branch and unload them at customer premises.
• Support customers in keeping their shelves supplied with the products they need.
• Complete delivery paperwork carefully and accurately.

What you need

• A valid Category C / 18T driving licence.
• At least two years of previous driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Confidence handling manual deliveries.
• Strong people skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
