About the Role

This contract-based position seeks experienced creative writers, journalists, novelists, essayists, editors, and publishing specialists interested in contributing to cutting-edge AI research and content evaluation. Your expertise in literature, storytelling, and editorial standards will be applied to assess and enhance AI-generated textual materials across diverse writing styles and formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, edit, and refine AI-produced writings including articles, essays, novels, short stories, speeches, and extended creative compositions.
• Judge literary aspects like originality, structure, tone, narrative voice, clarity, flow, and thematic richness.
• Offer comprehensive editorial feedback and practical suggestions for improving AI-generated content quality.
• Evaluate elements such as character arcs, dialogue, pacing, storytelling coherence, and stylistic uniformity.
• Exercise professional editorial judgment to maintain high standards of written content quality across multiple formats.
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams to contribute to the advancement of AI language models.
• Uphold rigorous quality, accuracy, and creative excellence throughout all written outputs.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of ten years' professional experience in creative writing, journalism, novel and essay writing, or related literary disciplines.
• A robust portfolio showcasing published books, articles, essays, or other notable literary works.
• Expert command over narrative construction, storytelling, voice modulation, dialogue crafting, character development, and literary style.
• Strong skills in editing, proofreading, and critical manuscript evaluation.
• Exceptional written communication aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to deliver insightful, constructive, and logically reasoned editorial critiques.

Preferred Credentials

• Work featured in renowned literary journals, magazines, anthologies, or professional outlets.
• Recipients of respected literary awards, fellowships, accolades, or distinctions in writing.
• Professional background including roles such as book editor, acquisitions editor, developmental editor, literary agent, manuscript evaluator, literary scout, documentary writer, speechwriter, memoir ghostwriter, or literary critic.
• Experience assessing complex texts across several genres and formats.
• Prior involvement or familiarity with AI, language models, editorial evaluation, or content review projects is advantageous.

Compensation & Terms

• Hourly pay between $75 and $100.
• Payments are made weekly.
• Engagement is as an independent contractor.
