Founded in 1959 in Hong Kong, Yue Hwa Chinese Products operates a department store in Singapore offering a broad selection of authentic Chinese merchandise. The flagship store is situated near Chinatown MRT station, combining a contemporary layout with rich cultural heritage. The store organizes special events during festivals to highlight its traditional Chinese offerings.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Supervisor role based in Singapore. The selected candidate will manage daily shipping and receiving operations, oversee material handling and maintain inventory accuracy, as well as ensure smooth delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

Manage shipping and receiving processes along with material handling and inventory control.
Oversee warehouse and logistics operations.
Assist in optimizing and documenting e-commerce workflows including order fulfillment, handling returns, and managing customer service escalations.
Support enhancements to the online shopping journey from browsing to after-purchase interactions.
Collaborate closely with e-commerce and customer service teams to guarantee prompt order fulfillment and delivery.
Perform deliveries as required, driving to ensure timely dispatch of online orders.
Willingness to work during weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications and Requirements

At least GCE 'N' Levels or an equivalent qualification.
Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.
Proven skills in shipping & receiving, material handling, and inventory management.
Experience in warehouse or logistics management.
Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively in a team.
Capability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
Possession of a Class 3 Driving License is mandatory.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary of up to SGD 3,000.
