Role Overview

The Warehouse Operator position, located in Altona, Victoria, requires a full-time onsite commitment. Responsibilities involve receiving shipments, unloading and accurately storing inventory according to established protocols. Daily duties include order picking and packing, preparing products for shipment, operating forklifts and related material handling machinery, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse. Adherence to health and safety standards, periodic inventory audits, and damage prevention through visual inspections are key components of the role. Collaboration with supervisors and team members is essential to meet productivity goals and ensure timely, precise order processing.

Candidate Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a valid visa permitting full employment rights in Australia.
• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Forklift operation experience (LO & LF licenses) is beneficial though not essential.
• Skills in unloading, packing, and handling materials are preferred.
• Strong commitment to health and safety regulations, including manual handling safety, is expected.
• Meticulous attention to detail in picking, packing, and inventory management is required.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks onsite at Altona.
• Good communication abilities and teamwork skills to follow instructions and achieve daily productivity targets.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems or RF scanning devices is a plus.
