Overview
BIA Group operates across Europe, Africa, and Asia, providing sales, rental, and after-sales support for equipment used in public works, mining, quarries, and transport. The organization employs more than 1,300 people and is hiring a Warehouse Officer in Guinea for a permanent, onsite role.
The main purpose of this position is to manage the movement, storage, and processing of goods efficiently so that machine parts reach internal teams and external customers on time, in full, and in good condition.
Role Summary
This role sits at the center of the parts-delivery chain and works closely with colleagues in the Parts and Service department to keep operations smooth, accurate, and efficient.
Key Duties
- Handle incoming and outgoing stock with precision so deliveries remain timely and complete.
- Process purchase and sales orders every day, both in the warehouse and in the administrative system.
- Pick orders and get them ready for dispatch.
- Flag and report any stock-related discrepancies or issues.
- Store goods in an organized and efficient manner.
- Keep warehouse areas tidy and well organized.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Support the front counter by assisting internal and external customers who come in.
- Distribute incoming workshop goods promptly to the mechanics.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant has a technical MBO-level way of working and thinking, understands basic logistics processes, holds a forklift driving license, and has a valid VCA basic certificate.
