Role Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse & Transportation Handler for our Swift Current location. This full-time, on-site role is eligible for a $1,000 signing bonus. Successful candidates will join a team focused on providing outstanding delivery services, supporting warehousing operations, and enhancing customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers' homes, assembling items as needed.
• Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently while managing schedules and delivering excellent customer service.
• Operate with care to avoid damage to products or customers’ property.
• Manage receipt of products, returns, accessories, and supplies; prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare products for delivery or display on the sales floor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for both warehouse and sales areas.
• Carry out routine store maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, wall repairs, and general upkeep.
• Conduct outdoor upkeep including grass cutting, snow shoveling, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Follow all safety regulations, company safety standards, and relevant laws for commercial drivers.
• Ensure delivery documentation is complete using delivery tablets and capture necessary photographs.
• Report any mechanical or other issues related to delivery vehicles promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license for at least one year; a clean driving record is essential. Air brake endorsement is a plus.
• Have 6 to 12 months of delivery driving experience, preferably handling heavy or large items.
• Experience using hand tools is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 100 pounds.
• Provide outstanding customer service consistently.
• Be available to work during retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions.
• Wear safety footwear as required.
• Willing to undergo a criminal record check.
