Marwood Group is a prominent healthcare advisory and research firm based in New York City, with additional offices in Washington, D.C., and London. Our Performance Improvement (PI) Practice collaborates with institutional investors and healthcare organizations to foster value creation and strategic transformation across the healthcare sector, focusing on areas such as revenue enhancement, operational excellence, and corporate development support.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our PI Practice as a Vice President. This position suits a strategic and results-oriented leader possessing extensive healthcare operational knowledge, consulting expertise, and a proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex projects within the PI Practice spanning various offerings.
- Engage and manage C-level executive relationships, skillfully handling diverse stakeholder interests.
- Achieve exceptional results under demanding conditions, including improving EBITDA, expediting cash flows, and accelerating growth.
- Ensure successful project outcomes, balancing client satisfaction with effective resource deployment.
- Set and clarify objectives and responsibilities within project teams, fostering open communication.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, encouraging continuous learning and constructive feedback.
- Create and refine tools and methodologies to standardize and elevate service delivery.
- Lead proposal development activities, including work scoping, staffing plans, and budget management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years in healthcare operations and strategic execution roles.
- At least 5 years' experience with a top-tier consulting firm.
- Proven track record managing multifaceted projects with tangible client outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare finance, operations, and regulatory frameworks.
- Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel and advanced financial modeling.
- Advanced academic degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA).
- Willing and able to travel when necessary.
