Role overview
An international semiconductor business is looking for a Design Verification Engineer to join its Cork, Ireland team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on graphical functional and performance verification for GPU products within a wireless technology development environment.
Core responsibilities
- Create and execute tests aimed at validating performance behavior.
- Investigate and troubleshoot performance and architecture issues in GPGPU designs.
- Help build and roll out updated verification methods for performance and emulation work.
- Contribute to hardware-software co-verification, simulation activities, emulation, and benchmark evaluation.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience in ASIC design and verification.
- Hands-on background in test planning, scripting, simulation, and technical problem-solving.
- Practical knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM, Verilog, and C/C++.
- RTL design experience would be an advantage.
- Exposure to simulation acceleration and emulation.
