Role Overview

LvlUp Ventures invites enthusiastic candidates to join as Venture Capital Interns for Fall 2026. This position demands a proactive individual capable of independent work, persistent execution, innovative thinking, and end-to-end project ownership. Interns will collaborate with the investing, platform, and portfolio teams, acquiring practical experience within a fast-paced, professional venture capital environment.

This is an unpaid internship offering the prospect of a paid internship or full-time position depending on performance. The role is primarily remote, with hybrid or in-person work options available at offices in Miami and New York City.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with deal flow management and evaluation of opportunities
• Conduct market research, competitive analyses, and trend monitoring
• Prepare internal memoranda, dashboards, and assist in portfolio tracking
• Support founder-related and ecosystem projects like accelerators, pitch events, and demonstration days
• Develop new platform initiatives, tools, or processes to enhance operational effectiveness
• Identify inefficiencies, suggest solutions, and aid in their implementation
• Collaborate across investing, platform, and operations teams
• Manage high-impact, ad hoc projects in a dynamic environment
• Participate in running programs such as the venture scout global initiative

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Seeks meaningful responsibilities rather than routine tasks
• Able to operate effectively amid ambiguity and figure out solutions
• Exhibits strong judgment, reliability, and discipline in execution
• Has 1-2+ prior internships in startups, venture capital, accelerators, consulting, or related fields
• Founder experience is highly valued
• Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrates high integrity, energy, and a founder-centric attitude
• Interested in pursuing a career in venture capital, startups, and company growth
