Freshminds is collaborating with a multi-strategy private investment firm to recruit a Venture Capital Associate. The firm specializes in early-stage growth equity investments globally, spanning various industries and asset classes with an emphasis on AI-focused ventures in the US market.

Role Overview

This position is tailored for professionals with backgrounds in investment banking, consulting, strategy, or related investment sectors who desire a role with a stronger commercial focus. The ideal candidate enjoys tackling analytical challenges, conducting research, and nurturing valuable stakeholder partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff to perform research on market dynamics, industry trends, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Assist in managing communications with Limited Partners (LPs) and investors, strengthening crucial stakeholder relations.
• Evaluate operational frameworks, planning procedures, and organizational systems to discover potential investments and value enhancement prospects.
• Participate actively in strategic projects and initiatives across the investment portfolio.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 1 to 2 years of professional experience within investment banking, strategy consulting, venture capital, or private equity environments.
• Exhibit strong analytical abilities and research aptitude capable of simplifying complex data into actionable insights.
• Be proactive, self-driven, and comfortable assuming responsibility in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
