Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced US Engineering Recruiter to oversee the entire recruitment process for roles in engineering, project management, quality, validation, regulatory affairs, and specialized life-sciences fields. This role involves collaborating with top US pharmaceutical and medical device clients and coordinating closely with candidates, account managers, and hiring managers throughout recruitment stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full recruitment life cycle: sourcing, screening, profile submission, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement.
- Identify and recruit talent for varied roles including engineering, project management, quality assurance, validation, regulatory affairs, and research and development positions.
- Source candidates utilizing platforms such as Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Indeed, internal databases, company job boards, and referrals.
- Analyze and understand job descriptions to develop strategic sourcing approaches.
- Conduct preliminary candidate evaluations covering technical capabilities, qualifications, experience, authorization to work, availability, and salary expectations.
- Communicate job duties, client requirements, project expectations, and employment terms clearly to candidates.
- Evaluate candidate fit against client criteria and prepare comprehensive candidate summaries.
- Submit qualified candidates to account and hiring managers timely.
- Organize interviews and maintain consistent communication with both candidates and hiring teams.
- Gather interview results and ensure follow-up is completed promptly through all recruitment phases.
- Assist in negotiating pay rates and benefits to close successful hires.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to manage expectations from start to finish.
- Leverage AI-based recruitment tools to analyze job descriptions, streamline candidate identification, and enhance screening processes.
- Recruit specialized professionals such as veterinary doctors, nutritionists, and educational experts for research, product development, regulatory, and training projects.
- Keep precise recruitment and candidate records within Applicant Tracking Systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in US-based recruiting for engineering, pharmaceutical, medical-device, or life-sciences sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end recruitment workflows.
- Familiarity with roles in engineering, quality assurance, validation, project management, and regulatory compliance.
- Practical experience with US job portals including LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, Dice, CareerBuilder, and ZipRecruiter.
- Strong sourcing, technical assessment, interviewing, offer negotiation, and candidate follow-up expertise.
- Ability to interpret technical job descriptions and align candidate qualifications with client needs.
- Knowledgeable about US employment types, work authorization policies, salary standards, and benefits packages.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Capable of juggling multiple requisitions and meeting submission and placement objectives.
- Availability to work during US business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting notable clients such as Abbott, Edwards Lifesciences, Becton Dickinson, Integra LifeSciences, Embecta, Philips, Zimmer Biomet, or similar companies.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled sourcing and recruitment technologies.
- Background in recruiting specialized life-sciences professionals including veterinary doctors, nutritionists, and educators.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment record management.
