About the Role

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to create compelling user experiences for enterprise applications developed through an AI-augmented software development lifecycle. This role collaborates with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to craft user flows, information structures, interaction patterns, and design standards. The designer will also evaluate and refine AI-generated prototypes to ensure they meet user needs, accessibility guidelines, and organizational design frameworks.

Key Duties

Design and optimize end-to-end user journeys and task flows for enterprise and operational application systems.
Spot and address usability challenges, friction points, and inefficiencies in workflows.
Validate design solutions against user requirements and business goals, incorporating both ideal and exception scenarios.
Define information architecture, organize navigation and content to help users easily access and understand application features.
Align system structure with user mental models, streamlining complex processes.
Critically evaluate AI-generated design prototypes and collaborate to refine concepts derived from user stories and requirements.
Govern design systems, ensuring consistency across all products while recommending new design components or guidelines when necessary.
Conduct usability testing and heuristic evaluations, emphasizing accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Coordinate with stakeholders through design reviews, workshops, and product demonstrations, advocating user-centered approaches throughout delivery.

Required Expertise

Proven experience designing workflows, portals, or digital platforms for enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of user-centered design, interaction design, and usability principles.
Competency in developing information architecture and navigation frameworks for complex systems.
Ability to assess and enhance workflows and operational processes effectively.
Skill in reviewing and critiquing prototypes from a user experience standpoint.
Experience maintaining design system governance and collaborating with customer UX teams to uphold design standards.
Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with corporate design systems and enterprise UX governance.
Ability to identify new design patterns beyond existing standards.
Familiarity with AI-enabled design and prototyping tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Figma AI, Lovable, Bolt, and v0.
Utilization of AI tools to expedite product discovery, design exploration, and usability analysis in software development.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid development environments.
Background in government, defense, engineering, or large enterprise sectors.
