Job Overview
The Rest of World Inbound (ROW IB) team is actively seeking a dedicated Transportation Representative based in Andhra Pradesh to manage and coordinate daily operational functions across Amazon’s fulfillment centers (INFCs). This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely seller appointments and addressing vendor/seller related requests efficiently, contributing directly to optimizing the inbound process and enhancing seller and vendor experiences.
Role Responsibilities
The Transportation Representative will communicate effectively with sellers, associates, and management, ensuring adherence to program standards for both personal and team performance. Key duties include resolving seller or vendor issues promptly using internal tools and real-time decision-making, analyzing data trends to improve processes, maintaining high-quality communication in English through emails and hotline calls, and proposing alternative appointment solutions to ensure smooth freight scheduling.
Daily Functions
The position requires managing vendor and seller inquiries via multiple channels such as email, calls, and ticketing systems in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. Responsibilities include facilitating communication flow among stakeholders, reporting progress and challenges, owning issue resolution from start to finish, and ensuring operational excellence through adherence to high standards and innovation.
About The Team
ROW IB is part of the ROW APEX vertical within India Operations. The team is responsible for streamlining the inbound logistics experience across all Amazon fulfillment centers by planning deliveries, executing rescue operations, managing contingencies, and handling vendor/seller appointments to provide hassle-free services.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
- Effective time management to meet personal and team objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Competence in internet navigation and website operations.
- Graduated from a recognized university.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to accurately understand and communicate issues.
- Focus and persistence in following up on unresolved matters until completion.
- Strong investigative and deep-diving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process improvement through automation and analysis.
- Advanced skills in SQL for data mining and business intelligence applications.
