Role Overview

Einride is looking for an experienced Transportation Manager to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. The position requires managing daily transportation operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing costs, and leading a team while collaborating with various internal departments to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation activities, including route planning and performance tracking.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
• Oversee site budgets and identify ways to reduce costs.
• Lead and develop drivers and logistics teams effectively.
• Implement strategies to boost service levels, minimize delays, and improve overall operations.
• Utilize transportation data and KPIs for continuous operational improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams for seamless coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum six years of experience in transportation or carrier management.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics, fleet management, and DOT compliance.
• Holding an active Class A CDL is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
