Transportation Logistics Supervisor

Job Overview

This role entails managing and coordinating the transportation logistics within the company. The position requires hands-on supervision and direct collaboration with various departments to maintain efficient operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the organization’s logistics operations to ensure seamless activities.
• Collaborate with multiple work units or departments to synchronize efforts.
• Compile and deliver detailed reports on operations.
• Guarantee proper function of computer and mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and necessary repairs.

• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate staff tasks.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Supervisory Scope

Responsible for overseeing a team of 3 to 4 personnel.

Experience and Technical Proficiency

• Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with electronic scheduling and dispatch management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should possess post-secondary education at the college or CEGEP level.
