Training Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Training Specialist to enhance employee growth within our warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves onboarding new team members, providing essential operational and safety education, keeping training documentation up to date, and ensuring the workforce is well-equipped to carry out tasks safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct orientation sessions and onboarding programs for newly hired employees.
• Provide training on safety protocols, operational procedures, equipment handling, including forklift operation.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, certifications, and compliance matrices.
• Monitor employee progress towards training goals and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
• Create and revise training materials, instructional guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Human Resources, and Safety departments to assess and address training requirements.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in training, onboarding, or educational facilitation roles.
• Proven ability to manage training records and documentation effectively.
• Previous involvement in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
• Certification as a Train-the-Trainer and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) are advantageous.
