Job description
Role Overview
The Training Placement Officer position is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The person in this role will be responsible for managing campus placement efforts, forging and nurturing connections with recruiters and industry partners, and creating training programs aimed at boosting students' job readiness. The officer will also organize skills workshops and collaborate closely with faculty and students to prepare them for recruitment activities such as resume writing, soft skills enhancement, and interview techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven background in coordinating campus placement and college recruitment efforts
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build effective relationships with recruiters and students
- Experience delivering training sessions and developing soft skills programs
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage placement events and processes efficiently
- Capability to assess industry trends and tailor student skill development accordingly
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a master's degree is advantageous
- Prior experience in higher education or campus placement is a plus
