Role Summary
The Tissue Converting Production / Machine Incharge role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, responsible for managing the daily operations of tissue converting machines. Key duties include production schedule planning and monitoring, machine setup and operation, and collaborating with production teams to achieve output and quality objectives. This position oversees machine operators, ensures proper training and strict adherence to safety protocols, and addresses technical issues promptly to reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and target achievement.
- Set up and operate tissue converting machinery while coordinating with teams for smooth operation.
- Supervise and train machine operators, enforcing workplace safety and operational standards.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products and enforce quality control measures.
- Maintain production records accurately and collaborate with maintenance and warehouse personnel for seamless processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong capability in production planning and management for optimized machine use and workflow organization.
- Experience in quality control processes, implementing corrective actions, and compliance with product specifications.
- Effective communication and training proficiency to lead and develop machine operators.
- Practical experience with tissue converting or comparable fast-paced manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting coordination.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and enforcement abilities in a production environment.
- Availability to work shifts, manage time effectively, and thrive under fast production conditions.
- Previous experience in supervisory or leadership roles within manufacturing or converting operations is advantageous.
- Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, industrial, or related fields is preferred, with relevant experience considered as an alternative.
