Role Overview

We seek a skilled Telecommunications Specialist to contribute on a contract basis, working remotely from any location. This position involves the design, deployment, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and infrastructure, focusing on network architecture, system integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and enhance telecommunications networks including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN technologies.
Work collaboratively with various teams to embed telecommunications solutions seamlessly within current IT setups.
Carry out comprehensive network monitoring, diagnostics, and resolve issues promptly to ensure high availability and system reliability.
Set up and manage telecommunications equipment, such as routers, switches, and gateways.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of network setups, policies, and procedures for all stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or similar fields.
Expertise in VoIP, SIP, and PSTN protocols and their associated technologies.
Deep understanding of network design principles, including routing and switching.
Hands-on experience with telecommunications hardware like routers, switches, and gateways.
Proficiency with tools used for network monitoring and diagnostics.
Strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network problems.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Compensation
