Job overview
This opening is for an energetic Telecaller / Tele-Counselor role in the overseas education space at Visakhapatnam. The position is designed for someone who can connect with students and parents, present study-abroad options clearly, and support the counseling and admissions journey.
Work schedule
Work timing is 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The workweek runs from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday as the weekly off.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective students and their parents through outbound calls.
- Share details about overseas education programs, available courses, universities, and related services.
- Stay in touch with leads through timely follow-ups and regular communication.
- Build student interest and arrange counseling appointments.
- Record call outcomes and keep the CRM or database updated on a regular basis.
- Respond to student questions in a professional manner and provide correct information.
- Work toward daily calling goals and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with counselors and admissions staff to ensure a smooth onboarding process for students.
Required profile
- Strong spoken communication in English, Hindi, and/or a regional language.
- Good persuasive ability along with solid interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with basic computer operations and MS Office tools.
- Ability to perform well in a target-driven setting.
- Prior experience in telecalling, customer service, or counseling is an advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication ability are also welcome.
Performance expectations
- Make at least 200 outbound calls each day.
- Consistently follow up with leads and nurture them over time.
- Meet the monthly targets assigned to the role.
