Overview

This position, representing a partner organization based in Ireland, seeks a Technical Project / Program Manager specializing in Enterprise Imaging. The role centers on leading expansive healthcare technology projects that enhance clinical workflows and patient care by deploying advanced imaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage intricate healthcare IT projects and programs focused on enterprise imaging platforms and associated technological initiatives.
Create and maintain detailed project plans encompassing schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and executive-level reporting.
Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams including clinical stakeholders, technical experts, vendors, and operational units.
Oversee deployment activities such as testing phases, preparation for rollout, cutover planning, go-live events, and post-launch stabilization.
Support initiatives involving AI and machine learning aimed at automating and enhancing imaging workflows and clinical operations.
Engage and coordinate with healthcare, technical, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated imaging technologies.
Manage issue resolution, risk mitigation strategies, and change management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure transparent and effective communication across project teams, leadership, and external collaborators.
Regularly monitor project progress and provide comprehensive updates on milestones, risks, and final delivery outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

A minimum of 5 years' experience in roles such as Technical Project Manager or Program Manager within healthcare IT environments.
Demonstrated expertise in overseeing enterprise healthcare technology implementations.
Hands-on experience with enterprise imaging platforms including Epic Radiant, Sectra, PACS, RIS, AI/ML imaging systems, or similar technologies.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT implementation methodologies and comprehensive project delivery processes.
Proven ability to manage diverse teams and complex stakeholder groups.
Excellent communication skills capable of interfacing with technical staff, clinical users, executive leadership, and vendor partners.
Strong organizational aptitude in handling timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies efficiently.
Experience with large healthcare systems and substantial technology transformations is advantageous.
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7 is beneficial.
PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly pay ranging approximately from 70 to 89 USD, dependent on experience, qualifications, and contractual terms.
