About Re.Group and Role Overview

Return-It, a fully owned subsidiary of Re.Group, leads recycling operations for the Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) across Australia. With convenient locations and advanced technology, we ensure a smooth recycling process both at depots staffed by employees and Express collection points.

We are seeking a Casual Depot Assistant to deliver excellent customer service by helping customers sort recyclable items and provide appropriate refunds.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Accurately sort recyclable materials into designated categories.
• Transport recyclable items to appropriate storage areas using forklift or manual handling.
• Welcome customers and assist them with their recycling needs to encourage repeat visits.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and promptly report hazards, faults, or risks.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support staff training and skill development to work safely and effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and Outlook is required.
• Positive and proactive attitude focused on delivering excellent customer service.
