Role overview
Grand Hyatt Doha is looking for a Team Leader in Housekeeping to support the management of cleanliness standards across guest rooms and hotel floors. The position plays a key role in helping the department operate efficiently while staying aligned with the hotel brand standards and broader corporate direction. The role also involves balancing the needs of employees, guests, and ownership.
Core responsibilities
You will help oversee housekeeping operations and ensure that room and floor cleanliness standards are consistently maintained. The position requires supporting daily departmental workflow, coordinating tasks, and contributing to smooth service delivery across the hotel.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management. A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel operations is required. The role calls for strong problem-solving ability, administrative capability, and effective interpersonal communication. A professional, guest-oriented approach is essential.
You should also have a demonstrated ability to lead housekeeping attendants, distribute work efficiently, carry out inspections, and offer guidance and feedback. A solid working knowledge of hygiene requirements, guest-room quality standards, safety practices, and housekeeping systems is expected.
