Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive Team Lead to work onsite at Brantford Commons. This role involves partnering closely with the management team to ensure smooth store operations and inspiring a motivated team to provide exceptional customer service. Your leadership, style sense, and hands-on involvement will help maintain a vibrant, organized, and customer-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store success by supporting sales goals aligned with company strategies and KPIs.
• Manage daily store functions including policy enforcement, loss prevention, opening and closing procedures, cash handling, reporting, and assisting with staff scheduling.
• Uphold high merchandising and visual standards to maintain a clean, consistent, and inviting shopping space.
• Provide coaching and continual training to develop team skills, boost confidence, and improve overall performance.
• Maintain strong communication with the Store Manager to align priorities and ensure smooth operations.
• Lead the team by example on the sales floor, addressing customer issues and ensuring top-tier service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a leadership or supervisory retail/customer service role.
• Ability to inspire, support, and direct team members towards common objectives.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving aptitude.
• Customer-first attitude with a knack for creating an engaging and friendly shopping atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to multitask in a dynamic retail setting.
• Familiarity with store operations including scheduling, cash management, merchandising, and inventory processes.
• Passion for fashion, good styling sense, and awareness of current fashion trends.
• Proficiency with POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical ability to stand for long hours, lift weights up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and safely use a step ladder up to 3 meters (10 feet).
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Additional Information

Starting wages are at least $1.80 above minimum wage with the potential for higher pay based on experience.
