Job Overview
The Talent Development Partner (TDP) works closely with the HR team and Chief Talent Officer to nurture and expand the organization's talent pipeline and succession plans. This role oversees creating, coordinating, and delivering training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and growth. The TDP identifies organizational training needs and develops tailored learning solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Designs and manages talent management programs covering employee performance, career and leadership development, organizational growth, team building, and change management practices.
- Creates assessment tools to evaluate learning comprehension before and after training sessions, including follow-up evaluations during the year to sustain knowledge retention.
- Partners with local management to formulate and implement the Annual Employee Development and Training Plan.
- Establishes cooperative relationships with management to proactively discover learning opportunities that boost employee development, engagement, and training.
- Collaborates with Managing Directors to design workforce training strategies addressing immediate and future employee training needs.
- Explores emerging instructional design technologies and recommends their integration into existing curricula.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of workforce and economic development, business intelligence trends, and project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with effective management techniques, including strategic planning, outcome assessment, and accountability mechanisms.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and general computer technology.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and sustain productive working relationships with management, colleagues, and vendors.
- Capacity to formulate strategies and develop effective solutions.
Education & Experience
- Associate's or undergraduate degree is necessary.
- Minimum of three years relevant professional experience.
- Equivalent experience may substitute educational requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and clean driving record required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
Physical & Work Conditions
Role may occasionally require lifting up to 10 pounds and involves standing, sitting, bending, and walking. Essential functions demand visual acuity, clear speech, and hearing.
