Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at TaxRise plays a critical role in managing the full recruitment process, from sourcing candidates and conducting screening interviews to coordinating offers and preparing for onboarding. Closely partnering with hiring managers and the People Operations team, this position ensures candidates experience a welcoming and professional environment from their initial engagement through their first day. This role requires an organized, people-oriented individual prepared to operate effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced workplace. Note that this position is fully onsite in Tustin, CA and candidates must be willing to work at the office.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary ranging between $71,000 and $73,000
• Monthly bonus averaging $400 to $800

Key Responsibilities

• Manage candidate experience by coordinating and performing pre-screen interviews, maintaining clear communication to keep candidates engaged
• Welcome and host candidates during in-person interviews, fostering a positive and professional environment
• Handle all scheduling and logistics for interviews across multiple departments smoothly
• Source candidates through diverse platforms including job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach
• Review resumes thoroughly to align candidate qualifications with role requirements and selection criteria
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred), including status updates and disposition notes
• Ensure correct entry of offer details in the ATS and facilitate efficient transitions throughout the hiring process
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand position needs, keeping applicant pipelines active and progressing
• Provide regular updates regarding candidate statuses and pipeline developments
• Advocate for recruitment best practices to sustain a consistent, high-quality hiring experience organization-wide
• Contribute content to enhance TaxRise's employer branding and social media presence
• Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and recruitment templates

Qualifications

• Between one and two years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within high-volume or fast-paced environments
• Practical experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, with familiarity in Greenhouse considered advantageous
• Strong communication skills that emphasize a candidate-focused approach
• Exceptional organizational aptitude capable of managing several open roles concurrently
• Proficient with sourcing technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter and social media channels
• Self-driven, detail-conscious, and adaptable to quick-changing priorities
• Professional demeanor on phone communications and effective follow-up skills
