Role Overview
The position of Talent Acquisition Manager involves delivering end-to-end recruitment management for specific business areas and creating scalable hiring mechanisms as Nabis continues to grow. This role demands collaborating closely with hiring managers, managing numerous requisitions simultaneously, and refining sourcing, screening, and hiring methodologies for both corporate and operational positions. It is a hybrid player-coach role, responsible for both hands-on recruiting and leading a small talent acquisition team. The role insists on someone adaptable to a dynamic fast-paced environment with responsibilities that include hiring outcomes and enhancing recruiting processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all stages of recruitment for 15 to 25+ open roles covering corporate and operational roles.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage a small team of recruiters daily.
- Develop active sourcing tactics to generate applicant pipelines, particularly for challenging leadership roles using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and direct candidate outreach.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to shape role scorecards, interview strategies, and candidate evaluation criteria.
- Manage hiring service-level agreements (SLAs) and meet targets related to time-to-fill for all requisitions.
- Drive candidate offer acceptance by working closely with hiring teams and people operations on compensation and candidate concerns.
- Facilitate high-volume recruitment for hourly positions in distributed warehouses and fleet departments, managing compliance with state work permits and agent badging that influence start dates.
- Maintain and improve Greenhouse applicant tracking system workflows such as screening questionnaires, application forms, scorecards, and candidate rejection logs to streamline hiring pipelines.
- Ensure an excellent candidate journey with prompt communication and skillful offer negotiations.
- Preserve clean and accurate recruiting data and provide regular reports on funnel metrics, pipeline status, and fill times to leadership.
- Monitor recruiting tools and budget spending to ensure effectiveness and return on investment.
- Ensure hiring practices comply with multi-state labor regulations including Fair Chance Act and other relevant laws.
- Identify inefficiencies and develop repeatable SOPs, templates, and instruments to support team scalability.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of seven years' experience in full recruitment cycles, including at least two years managing recruiters or coordinators, preferably with experience in high-volume, multi-market environments.
- Background in startups or rapidly growing organizations, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with the Greenhouse ATS including configuring workflows, applications, and reports.
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude, willing to refine processes and manage candidate pipelines actively.
- Proven abilities in process enhancement, developing new SOPs, templates, or systems as required.
- Experience recruiting for a range of corporate and hourly operational positions.
- Strong skills in data management and analysis, able to construct trackers and interpret hiring metrics confidently.
- Excellent abilities in stakeholder partnership and engagement at all organizational levels.
- Flexible in assuming multiple roles such as recruiting, coordination, reporting, and additional people operations tasks.
- Experience handling pre-employment conditions for regulated industries like cannabis, healthcare, gaming, or DOT transportation strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional employment compliance is an added advantage.
- Previous exposure to cannabis industry, startups, or logistics/distribution sectors is beneficial.
