Talend Administrator

Job Overview

This role focuses on administering Talend Data Integration environments, entailing management and operation of Talend Administration Center (TAC), Talend Job Server, and related tools. The candidate will ensure smooth execution of ETL workflows, maintain system stability, and handle user access and permissions within these platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Talend Data Integration technologies including TAC and Job Server.
• Oversee job scheduling, deployment, and real-time monitoring to ensure ETL processes run efficiently.
• Maintain user access controls and handle permission management within Talend environments.
• Address and resolve system issues affecting performance or workflow stability.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven hands-on expertise with Talend Administration Center, Talend Job Server, and Talend Data Integration tools.
• Strong grasp of ETL methodologies and data integration principles.
• Experience managing job scheduling, deployment cycles, and operational monitoring tasks.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix based operating systems and basic shell scripting skills.
• Knowledge of relational databases including SQL querying.
• Ability to troubleshoot Talend jobs, including familiarity with Java basics for job debugging.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and the big data ecosystem.
• Experience with monitoring tools and automation scripting to support operational efficiency.
