System Analyst and QA Tester

Position Overview

We seek a technically adept professional with strong analytical capabilities to analyze, test, and evaluate software systems prior to their final approval and deployment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze system functionalities, workflows, and user requirements thoroughly.
• Execute comprehensive testing of all system features, including websites and mobile applications to verify proper operation.
• Develop detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Focus testing efforts on hotel management systems including reservations, invoicing, payments, reporting, and point-of-sale functionalities.
• Document software issues meticulously using screenshots, videos, and step-by-step reproduction instructions.
• Collaborate closely with the development team, ensuring reported issues are resolved effectively.
• Perform retesting of features following updates or bug fixes prior to approval.
• Verify delivered functionalities against agreed-upon requirements.
• Test user access permissions, data security measures, financial transaction processes, and accuracy of reporting.
• Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports covering system status, identified issues, task completion, and progress percentages.
• Maintain records and task follow-up using the Favro project management tool.
• Provide employee training on system use and create clear user manuals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in system analysis, software testing, or quality assurance roles.
• Competence in testing web-based systems and mobile apps.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Keen attention to detail for identifying software defects.
• Basic familiarity with databases and APIs is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with developers and translate user feedback into technical specifications.
• Good written English reporting skills; Arabic is a beneficial additional skill.
• Experience with hotel management, reservation, or point-of-sale systems is highly valued.

Employment Conditions

• Full-time role based on-site to facilitate hands-on testing and direct interaction with employees and developers.
• Three-month probationary period.
• Preference for candidates with practical software testing experience over solely theoretical technical backgrounds.
