Support Services Assistant - Catering & Cleaning

Job Overview

Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services is seeking Support Services Assistants to join their team in Dublin, working primarily in catering and cleaning areas. Positions available include full-time (39 hours/week) and part-time (19.5 hours/week) contracts of indefinite duration, funded by the H.S.E. Board of Directors, based at the Harold's Cross location.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves performing daily operational tasks within the Support Services department, specifically focusing on catering and cleaning duties to support the hospice environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• At least one year of relevant experience in the hospitality sector.
• Availability and flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Healthcare Professional Cleaning Certificate or equivalent.
• Manual handling training certification recognized by Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services.
• Minimum one year of recent experience (within last three years) in a healthcare setting.
