About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply & Inventory Planner dedicated to advancing operational excellence and optimizing supply chain performance through actionable data insights. Reporting directly to the S&OP Manager, you will play an essential role in steering supply chain operations throughout Australia and New Zealand. Your key focus will be creating and managing supply and inventory strategies that ensure product availability aligns with demand while balancing inventory costs and service levels.

Collaborating closely with both local and global partners, including suppliers and logistics teams, your responsibilities will encompass inventory administration, overseeing international shipment coordination, managing stock transfers, and participating in the annual stocktake. Additionally, you will enhance data transparency and continuous process improvement by utilizing advanced tools such as SAP, SQL, and Power BI to streamline reporting and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee supply and inventory plans to maintain ideal stock quantities and high customer satisfaction.
• Track inventory metrics, analyze tendencies, and proactively address risks like stock shortages and overstock scenarios.
• Coordinate inbound international shipments, local procurement efforts, and stock transfer logistics.
• Develop and keep up-to-date comprehensive supply chain reports to aid operational and inventory decision processes.
• Maintain accurate Supply Chain master data for Hager’s Australia and New Zealand portfolio, ensuring consistency and integrity.
• Examine supply chain performance data to uncover risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
• Create, sustain, and automate key performance indicators and dashboards that enhance supply and inventory transparency.
• Utilize SAP, Power BI, and other analytical systems to deliver valuable business insights.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, precision, and overall operational performance.
• Contribute to strategic supply chain projects within Hager’s transformation framework.
• Collaborate with internal teams, overseas colleagues, suppliers, and logistics partners to guarantee seamless supply chain operations.
• Establish robust relationships across business units to support planning, inventory management, and decision-making effectiveness.
• Clearly communicate analytical findings and counsel stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a tertiary degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Have at least three years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, or S&OP environments.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret complex data and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with supply and inventory planning methodologies and processes.
• Proficient in data analytics and reporting platforms, particularly Power BI; experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly valued.
• Excellent organizational skills, effective planning, and time management.
• Outstanding communication abilities and adeptness at managing stakeholder relationships.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma practices being advantageous.
