Role overview

This position is for an experienced MAWM / RELEX Demand Forecasting Consultant who will contribute to supply chain technology programs in Australia. The consultant will partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology vendors to implement, tailor, test, and support warehouse management and forecasting solutions. The role calls for a solid background in supply chain operations, warehouse processes, and enterprise system delivery.

Location and work arrangement

This is a full-time, permanent onsite role based in Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the rollout, improvement, and ongoing support of MAWM and/or RELEX platforms.
• Collect business needs from supply chain and warehouse stakeholders and turn them into clear documentation.
• Set up system parameters to align with operational requirements.
• Contribute to solution design and initiatives that improve processes.
• Carry out functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Diagnose issues and work with business and technical teams to resolve them.
• Help with deployments, production releases, and stabilization after go-live.
• Track system behavior and suggest ways to improve performance.
• Create training guides, support documentation, and knowledge transfer content.
• Work closely with business users, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams.

Required experience and qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse management, demand planning, or retail technology settings.
• Practical experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain, warehouse, inventory, and demand planning workflows.
• Prior involvement in system implementations, enhancements, and production support.
• Hands-on capability in configuration, testing, and validation of business processes within systems.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary project teams.

Preferred background

• Exposure to RELEX for demand forecasting and replenishment.
• Experience in retail, distribution, logistics, or eCommerce operations.
• Understanding of forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, and allocation.
• Knowledge of warehouse activities such as receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Familiarity with integration testing and data validation.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
