Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

The Supply Chain Procurement Specialist will work closely with procurement teams and business stakeholders to execute strategic sourcing tasks, manage supplier relationships, and enhance procurement processes. This role involves facilitating sourcing strategies, managing contracts through their lifecycle, and utilizing data insights to drive procurement decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and implementation of request for proposal (RFP) processes.
• Conduct procurement data analysis and generate reports that inform sourcing decisions.
• Prepare, review, and manage contract documents throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Carry out operational procurement activities alongside long-term strategic sourcing projects.
• Engage with internal departments and external suppliers to advance procurement goals.
• Organize and maintain procurement documentation and sourcing records.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and recommend improvements for procurement workflows and operational efficiencies.
• Manage multiple procurement assignments simultaneously, meeting all deadlines.
• Offer assistance in other sourcing and procurement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with RFP processes and supplier sourcing techniques.
• Experience in drafting, administering, and managing contracts through their lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and procurement reporting software.
• Experience with ERP and supply chain management systems.
• Ability to analyze procurement data and interpret sourcing metrics effectively.
• Prior knowledge of procurement for operational services or materials is advantageous.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as utilities, energy, or infrastructure is preferred.
• Capability to juggle multiple procurement projects and priorities within a dynamic environment.
