Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to join our Ahmedabad-based team on a full-time, on-site basis. This pivotal role involves overseeing comprehensive supply chain activities including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory control, and supply assurance to maintain seamless availability of raw materials and finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate demand forecasts and align procurement and inventory activities accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal departments such as production, quality, finance, and logistics.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock, reduce excess, and prevent shortages.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards throughout supply chain operations.
• Produce detailed reports and dashboards highlighting critical supply chain metrics.
• Address and resolve supply chain disruptions promptly to support business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in demand planning and analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
• Proficiency in supply management and procurement, including supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Capabilities in inventory management aimed at optimizing stock turnover and minimizing obsolescence.
• Relevant professional experience within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or life sciences supply chain management is highly advantageous.
• Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related fields; certifications like APICS or CSCP are a plus.
• Experience with ERP and supply chain planning software along with advanced Excel and reporting competencies.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvements.
