Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain Contracts Manager to join a premier infrastructure project based in Dublin. The incumbent will administer, govern, and manage contractual commitments between the client and its supply chain partners, driving compliance and performance across all subcontracting agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of all client partner supply chain contracts, including subcontracts, teaming, and collaboration agreements.
- Collaborate closely with the Client Partner PSC Manager to ensure the client's primary contract obligations are clearly understood and properly disseminated through all supply chain agreements.
- Assist the Client Partner Contract Manager in enforcing adherence to contract terms, governance protocols, and performance deliverables.
- Create and oversee the Subcontractor Management Plan ensuring integrated processes, controls, and governance are uniformly applied.
- Implement comprehensive subcontract administration processes encompassing contract execution, obligation monitoring, performance evaluation, change and risk management, record keeping, and contract closure.
- Track subcontractor compliance and performance according to contractual requirements, KPIs, and governance standards.
- Coordinate administration of contractual changes, claims, and notices in line with subcontract terms and client governance.
- Partner with Finance, Resourcing, and Commercial teams to integrate contract management with resource planning and financial reporting.
- Design and apply performance measurement frameworks and contractual reporting across the supply chain.
- Maintain meticulous records to ensure transparent subcontractor performance and contractual compliance.
- Engage with legal, governance, finance, risk, and executive leadership teams to uphold effective contract administration.
- Prepare governance documentation including approval materials, reports, and briefings concerning supply chain contracts.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage contractual and commercial risks proactively, escalating issues when necessary.
- Safeguard the client’s risk exposure as the prime consultant, ensuring contract protections and obligations are effectively managed.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships among the client, internal teams, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
- Participate in dispute avoidance strategies and manage resolution processes for contractual disputes involving supply chain partners.
- Ensure all supply chain management activities comply with client policies, governance frameworks, and ethical standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Over 10 years of pertinent experience in contract management, subcontract or supply chain management, or commercial oversight within complex infrastructure programs.
- Proven expertise in managing intricate subcontract arrangements and cascading contractual obligations from prime contracts down to supply partners.
- Experience developing and implementing subcontractor governance frameworks, particularly in consultancy and professional service contracts.
- Familiarity with managing strategic supply chain relationships, contractual risk, teaming agreements, joint ventures, and performance KPIs.
- Capability in working alongside legal teams on contract administration, and adeptness at managing contractual changes, claims, and dispute mitigation.
- Ability to cultivate strong commercial partnerships that enhance overall program delivery.
- Comfort working in complex, integrated stakeholder environments.
