Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting Analyst

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a supply chain analytics and reporting professional to support manufacturing and materials management activities for a global technology organization. The position blends supply chain knowledge with hands-on analytics work, particularly around Power BI, SQL, data pipelines, and planning processes.

The assignment runs until 30 June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain data pipelines so information from manufacturing partners is captured correctly and reaches enterprise reporting systems on time.
• Lead the weekly collection, checking, and upload of execution, operations, forecast, purchase order, part master, material planning, and build plan datasets.
• Track end-to-end data movement across cloud storage, the data warehouse, and reporting tools, and fix issues when flows break down.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Power BI dashboards and reports so they remain fast, accurate, and user-friendly.
• Create and refine SQL queries, Power Query logic, and reporting rules to meet business needs.
• Spot and correct data quality, integration, and reporting problems to keep operational dashboards available without interruption.
• Bring together supply chain cost and planning information while keeping reporting repositories and supporting documentation up to date.
• Update and verify weekly and monthly reporting tools to ensure stakeholders receive accurate outputs.
• Build executive-ready reports, presentations, and insights that support both operational and strategic decisions.
• Work with manufacturing partners and internal teams to investigate mismatches in data and close issues through to resolution.

Requirements

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain analytics.
• Solid grasp of supply chain planning concepts such as Plan of Record (POR), Build Plan (BP), Execution & Operations (EnO), inventory management, and material planning.
• Advanced capability in Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and Excel for analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based data architectures and pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and warehouse systems.
• Practical experience using Power Query to transform data, build models, and automate reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability, with a focus on identifying root causes and solving complex data issues.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas, data handling, and analytical modelling.
• Exposure to VBA and automation methods would be an advantage.
• Experience using AI tools to strengthen reporting, analytics, or process efficiency is a plus.
