The Opportunity
Fulton Hogan is seeking an organized and administratively skilled professional to join our Southern Region Construction Submissions team based in Richmond. This is a full-time, 12-month maternity leave contract position. You will play a vital role in coordinating tender submissions for the Southern Construction Region across Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia, ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, brand-aligned, and delivered promptly.
Join our Pre-Contracts team working on projects involving clients like VIDA roads, Yarra Trams, Melbourne Airport, the Level Crossing Removal Project, and the Department of State Growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate expressions of interest (EOI) and tender submissions with high standards and on schedule.
- Collaborate with the bid team to create and monitor submission timelines, milestones, and internal review processes.
- Prepare tender and submission documents using Microsoft Word templates and style guidelines.
- Gather necessary information, source visuals, and assist in reviewing and updating content with proper version control.
- Keep the Resource Library current by maintaining CVs, project sheets, and standardized text.
- Format and perform quality assurance checks on documents in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with InDesign is advantageous.
- Maintain orderly electronic filing systems for ease of access and audit readiness.
- Provide general administrative support to the Pre-Contracts team as required.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Capable of handling demanding deadlines effectively with a strong sense of urgency.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing polished and accurate documents.
- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for proofreading, formatting, and grammar corrections.
- Experience with tenders, submissions, proposals, or document coordination is beneficial but not mandatory.
