Role Overview
The Studio Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day seamless functioning of the studio, encompassing production, IT, and general operations support. This energetic, proactive individual will take charge of organization, technical troubleshooting, and logistics, guaranteeing the studio is always prepared for projects and smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal contact for maintaining and organizing studio spaces to keep them production-ready
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment such as monitors, peripherals, workstations, and cameras
- Provide support across Mac and PC environments, including hardware configuration and simple IT troubleshooting
- Maintain inventory and manage studio assets — labeling, storing, and organizing cables, adapters, tools, and other gear
- Assist with equipment and setup for shoots, including both preparation and post-production teardown
- Facilitate everyday logistical and operational needs across different teams
- Identify and solve problems proactively, operating with minimal supervision
Skills & Requirements
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach; identifies necessary tasks independently
- Comfortably balances multiple priorities across IT, production, and general studio duties
- Physically able and willing to manage, set up, move, and organize equipment regularly
- Service-oriented mindset; assists all departments with both routine and critical tasks
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
- Keen interest in technology, IT setups, and hands-on troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of hardware connections (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, etc.)
- Comfortable with both Mac and Windows operating systems
- Previous experience with production environments and camera equipment is advantageous
- Capable of lifting and managing equipment as needed to keep the studio efficient
