Role Overview

This role involves efficiently handling delivery loads, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe transport of goods, strict adherence to traffic laws, and maintaining warehouse standards aligned with Rexel's strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately load and unload deliveries ensuring safety throughout the process.
• Process and dispatch customer orders with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders and accompanying documentation.
• Operate vehicles safely and courteously, complying with all road rules and traffic regulations.
• Maintain warehouse and showroom cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support customers and sales activities providing outstanding service to diverse trades.
• Collaborate effectively within warehouse and delivery teams to achieve company goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a customer-facing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential; full training and support will be provided.
• Motivated, eager to learn, and committed to building a career within Rexel.
• Organised, responsible, and works well as part of a team.
• Possession of a current driver's licence with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Hold a current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
