Role Summary

The Store Manager position at Burson's Cardiff branch offers an exciting leadership opportunity focused on connecting business goals, team performance, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees the store's commercial operations to realize business plans by maximizing profitability and managing financial metrics. The successful candidate will provide hands-on coaching, foster team development, close performance gaps, and cultivate a high-performance environment aligned with Burson's core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations across sales, administration, team leadership, and overall branch functioning.
• Manage stock levels carefully by reducing obsolete and excess inventory while ensuring product availability to consistently meet client demand.
• Cultivate and expand customer relationships to drive sales growth and branch profitability.
• Supervise branch staff, including Parts Interpreters, Store personnel, and Delivery teams.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and keep safety training current.
• Handle administrative duties such as processing invoices, credits, and warranty claims.
• Availability for Saturday morning shifts as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse team setting.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in automotive parts or related industries.
• Proven leadership skills with the capability to inspire and motivate teams to meet targets and key performance indicators.
• Customer-centric mindset combined with effective time management and keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety protocols, strong administrative proficiency, and solid computer literacy.
• Experience dealing with European vehicle parts is an advantage.
• Possession of a current full driver's license.
