Join our team at the Alpha QVB store in Sydney as a Store Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the in-store experience actively during shifts, maintaining situational awareness of the sales floor.
- Lead by example to foster exceptional customer experiences and strong floor leadership.
- Share brand knowledge and event details with both team members and customers, encouraging engagement.
- Coach product guides to develop their skills and support store sales targets.
- Manage inventory processes including receiving, restocking, destocking, and visual merchandising to optimize sales.
- Use operational tools to monitor sales goals, labor, and budget adherence.
- Build relationships with potential partners to support events and promote brand presence in the community.
- Handle store opening and closing protocols efficiently.
- Respond to store communications such as phone calls, voicemails, and emails.
- Operate the POS system to handle transactions including purchases, returns, warranties, and gear trade-ins.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least one year of leadership experience along with 1-2 years of retail background.
- Inherently motivated to unlock team members' potential and foster growth.
- Customer-centric approach with enthusiasm for delivering superior service.
- Capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback and coaching in real-time.
- Strictly adheres to health and safety protocols and ensures compliance.
- Demonstrates ability to set clear directions, align teams on goals, and encourage commitment.
- Effective time management skills allowing prioritization and responsiveness to dynamic business needs.
- Adaptable and flexible when facing uncertain or changing situations.

Additional Information
- Availability to work on "Black Friday" and during peak holiday seasons (from mid-December onward) is expected.
- Work under Store Manager and Assistant Manager, completing additional tasks as required.
- Minimum commitment of one opening shift, one closing shift, and one weekend shift weekly.
- Work schedule is typically 30-40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday.
- Scheduling flexibility is required to meet business needs as determined by management.
