Role Purpose

The Junior Stores Executive role is based in Vapi and is tasked with precise and disciplined management of inventory records, material handling, and documentation across manufacturing sites. This position requires hands-on involvement, meticulous attention to detail, and accountability in managing stock and associated processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain precise inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and consumables.
• Ensure correct labeling, binning, and identification of all materials in storage.
• Monitor stock levels, promptly reporting shortages or surpluses.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and quality clearances.
• Prepare and record Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) accurately in the system.
• Manage issuance of materials in line with production requirements.
• Keep organized documentation including GRNs, issue slips, and stock registers.
• Adhere strictly to FIFO and FEFO inventory principles where applicable.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data.
• Collaborate effectively with Purchase, Production, and Quality Control departments.
• Coordinate timely availability of materials to prevent production delays.
• Oversee material transfers between Vapi and Dahej plants.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards within store areas.
• Ensure proper stacking and safety compliance to prevent damage or loss.
• Implement measures to avoid pilferage and material wastage.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate degree preferred in Commerce or related discipline.
• Approximately 13 years of experience in stores and inventory management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, with preference for Tally software.
• Strong focus on detail orientation and disciplined record keeping.
• Willingness to travel and work between Vapi and Dahej locations.
